Where do I begin
Running its as easy as putting one foot in front of the other. God given talent. But is it as simple as it feels. Afraid not. Running takes discipline, love of winning (if you like to compete and win) and the need to look good, feel good be good.
Howver, the story is not just about me but about us, me and my running p'ng yu. This is my part watch out for her .............:)
I started running in 1998 to lose weight after going on a diet for 2 weeks. Although the diet help me to lose weight I realise it wasn't healthy to just diet so I started running. I managed to drop my weight by 7 kg within 3 months. Its not a lot especially when you watch The Biggest Loser but it took consistent discipline to keep the 7 kg off with a lot ups and downs of the scale. I only started running competitively in 2005. Initially it was just for fun, the occasional 10 Km races but the desire to be able to run faster and longer got me started on half marathons and I graduated to full marathons.
The story sounds like the typical cinderella story but let me unravel the story slowly to where I am today.
The story is filled with sweat, joy, pain, medals blah blah blah...... interested remember to read on................
