Royal Selangor Pewter

On August 9th, we visited Zoo Negara, a place both of us visited many years ago.  Since we managed to finish early, I suggested going to Royal Selangor Pewter Visitor Center.  I am a big fan and collector of pewter ware.  In fact if anyone wants to get me a present go to selangor pewter. I have collected a few pieces to date:  Most of the pieces I have are from Royal Selangor but I have found other pewter from other

from other manufacturers but Royal Selangor Pewter is still the best in design and functionality.  How I digressed.

When we reached the center we were pleasantly surprised that there were designated tour guide for all visitors.  Even though there were only 2 of us,  we were assigned a guide and the tour started.  It was a very comprehensive tour from the beginings of Selangor pewter till Royal Selangor today as we weaved in and out of the visitor center with its classic design and manufacturing stories.
The weighing scale is big enough to weigh us.  Haha we are too embarassed to tell you how much we weigh.

They also had a huge store in the factory n also a cafe.  All in all its was a great way to end the day.  I highly recommend my readers to take the time to go visit the Royal Selangor Visitor Center.  It makes you feel proud to be a Malaysian when you see Malaysian products that is of such high quality and beauty.  Malaysia Boleh........
