Gasing hill

A little detour from running, On Aug 22nd, Lilin n I decided to try hiking at Gasing Hill.  We plan to go early in the morning but unfrotunately the morning started raining and that made it impossible us to go.  However, luckily for us the sun came out in the afternoon so we decided to go in the evening instead.

Gasing Hill is relatively small n easily accessible in Petaling Jaya.  When we reached there about 5pm and started the hike.  The hike was not an easy route n there were a lot of ups n downs.  We had to go under trunks, hold on to branches to make sure our footing were solid.  It was quite tiring but interesting.

In the beginning.........so easy to hike

u mean i have to go down on my knees....wah lau

its ok lah, at least look good at it

Any chance of a prince charming in the area

After about 30 mins we realised we were knida lost, to be exact we have been going around in circles, so we decided to try to get out.  However, the only way out was a road we saw at the edge of the hill.

We went down to the road and started walking hoping to see something familiar.  All we saw we high end bungelows and a deserted road.  There were 2 motorbikes that passed by but they did not look friendly.  I started to worry coz it was so isolated.  After a couple of minutes we decided to turn around and hopefully go back to where we started.  I was beginning to worry as we walked down the road.

Not wanted to worry Lilin, I just chatted with her so that she was enjoying the walk.  We even ran some of the way.  Fortunately we saw an elderly man jogging so we approached him and asked for the way out.  He was going the same way ie out of the gasing hill area so kept us company on the way out.

It was hot and humid, we had a good sweat but unfortunately we did not manage to hike properly.  On top of that both of us had mosquitoes bites all over us.  Poor Lilin was badly bitten.  Next time, yes there will be a next time we will have to plan properly.

Till the next hike then.....................
